Mind exercises

1. Take a tour of your conscious experience

This is a priming exercise to get you in touch with the contents of your conscious experience. No incense or gongs required. This is a pragmatic and practical look around. We will start with noticing your breathing but we won't be there long. Many mind exercises repetitively focus on the breath and to be honest, are a bit boring! This one has a different focus.

2. Getting comfortable with the uncomfortable

This follow up exercise is straight from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. It has shown thousands how to relate to uncomfortable internal sensation. Humans are hardwired to avoid uncomfortable sensations like anxiety but there is another way.

3. How to communicate with your emotions

Your emotions are not fighting against you. They are you.

Listen to what they want you to know in a new and surprising way.
